The Gate49 Business Platform offers the functionality to send account statements cost-free by e-mail as well as by fax or mail. The account statements shows the open items; within the –e-mail it is possible to get the original invoices displayed by clicking on the appropriate link. Furthermore, all documents include a direct link to the extranet including account number and password. The user gets a detailed overview about all transactions and he has various selection options (e.g. all invoices of a specific branch). All invoices can be re-printed as well.
In the short term each account statement by fax already saves money compared to the mail option; beyond that statements sent by e-mail save even more shipping or transmission costs, which can grow to several thousand Euro, as companies tend to send statements more than once a month.
In the long term you can save further costs due to decreasing inquiries to the indoor services. Altogether this is a prime example in favour of web-based ERP systems.
